backyard swamp tours
this photo is not from today. this photo was happier times just 4 days ago. sunny, 60degrees and a nice 30mile ride on the fixedgear. i have a very serious look on my face - i blame the polar bear standing in the roadway.
yes today we wake to torrential flooding (and for that i blame the 60 mysterious bird deaths last week), thunderstorms, lightening and plunging temps. and what did i do during this time? go climb back into bed? no....that is too easy. i'd rather suffer for my art. what you are about to witness, however, is not art. it is morning crazy spurred on by chatting with whitney and him posting a photo of his flooding yard and then me high on 2 big cups of coffee (yes im back on the stuff) grabbing a rain jacket, a handy old school life vest i keep nearby and my camera to stand in the rain and cold. anyway. here it is....in all its stupidity. i do this so that you dont have to.
we have ice on the way. i hope to find a tutu for the backyard ice rink photos.

Glad to hear you're back on the coffee. Those must've been some pretty dark days!
