well maybe not. but would be pretty thrilling. austin did make the national news with its very own unconfirmed bird pandemic that had 2 police officers in the hospital (that turned out untrue) and alien giant raptors with a wingspan of 20feet circling downtown austin. the only people they didn't swoop down and munch on were bike messengers and riders...cause they are ok in the giant raptor world. that is really true.

so 60 dead birds, guys in full on hazmat space suits roaming the streets and nick still delivering and thankful he can cut lanes so easily most of the day. fun times.

so announced today: im sorta giddy over the new iphone apple just announced at macworld keynote. i try to be not so geeky. but it sneaks up on me. might have to turn in my hipster PDA. save up my coffee money for this.

• the pink courier's 'message of love' went down fabulously - who wouldn't want to get a love note from a bicycle courier dressed in pink. splendid. however, please note, i did not get one. wah. prolly just couldn't find my house. ya. that's it.

and tula is now a true bike riding dog also. the circle is complete. we are a household of bike riders. she is much slower and gazelle like, whereas the pie is balls out sled dog when we first start out. here's miss tula...
