hibernation at my house
just went out for a weeks worth of groceries, including makings for vegan chocolate chip oatmeal cookies. have booze (pretty sure im still good on that...need to re-check that vital resource of comfort). still doing ok on wood. dogfood and treats: check. clean pajama's - yup. bring on the snow and ice. sounds like we are in store for ice late tonite. temps hover around 30 for the next 2 days. snow is even in the forecast now for monday nite and tuesday. anywhere else maybe this isn't a big deal. but we're in central texas. the weather people are going crazy. shit, i read our gov. perry has activated the national guard. wtf.
my little dog pie hates to go outside in the wet and cold. i wonder if i can just hold his butt out the window....i was going to try to get a bike ride in for both of them, cuz after today i am pretty sure it wont be happening. i need paw booties for them.
that is if i can get them up.
dog pile. scoot over...i'm coming in.

no real snow riding here in dc as of yet
a few dustings
I did not get out on the bike
but I did hike the dog
we got out for a few hours while the snow fell
it was good for both of us
good for the soul to be out while the snow is falling
